About Dr. Nathan Mcclane, MD

Hello, I’m Nathan McClane, MD. I am a General Surgeon with a specialized focus on surgical wound care.
My journey began in Chino Hills, Southern California. I earned my medical degree from Loyola University Chicago, graduating in 2019, and completed my surgical residency at HonorHealth in 2024. It was during this time that I discovered my true calling in wound care, a field that allows me to make a profound impact on my patients’ lives.
My wound healing interests are focused on infected hardware, biosurgery, personal patient needs and equipment, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, limb salvage, staged wound closures, skin grafts, and tissue regenerative medicine which offer cutting edge solutions for complex wound cases. I am also keen on the business aspects of healthcare, constantly seeking ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the services we provide.
Here you can expect a blend of innovative techniques and compassionate care. I believe in treating the whole person, not just the wound, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan that addresses their unique needs. Whether you’re dealing with post-surgical recovery or chronic wound management, I am here to guide you through every step of the healing process.
I am currently a partner at Shirah Surgical which is aiming to be the most comprehensive wound healing team in the Greater Phoenix Area. See our website (shirahsurgical.com) to make an appointment. Our services do not exist at most hospitals. We enjoy healing wounds and are excited to work with you!
